現在的中影 用技術保存你我的感動

  近年來，全世界影人都在關注老片修復與保存的議題，馬丁史柯西斯成立的「World Cinema Foundation」以修復和保存一些世界上重要電影為重責大任；香港邵氏近年來也開始修復【梁祝】等經典的邵氏電影；喬治盧卡斯也一直持續著手將星際大戰系列進行修復工作；另外像【窈窕淑女】、【007系列】、【教父】、【後窗】等經典電影也都透過數位修復技術，讓這些影片再展風采。

  35釐米膠卷本身相當脆弱，歷經時代的風化和腐蝕，時間越長對於膠卷的侵蝕也越多，台灣早期沒有恆溫和濕度控制保存，加上台灣氣候潮濕，影片保存實屬困難，重要的是，這些影片若不透過修復工作，這些重要的藝術和文化資產，就將因氣候和時間的雙重威脅下，永遠消失不見。

  孕育許多台灣電影的中影，串起台灣影壇最重要的年代，許多經典電影都代表了台灣影史的特殊意義。對此，中影今年決心，以數位修復的方式，將片庫中兩百多即將消失的老電影完整保存，不僅讓過去曾參與台灣電影最輝煌年代的觀眾，能再次感受這些傑出電影的真實感動，更讓新一代的影迷們見證這些屬於我們的故事、台灣道地真摯情懷的影壇經典。

• Synopsis Lee Da-wei is a prodigy. Born the only son into a scholarly family, his parents put endless pressure on him to do well. Fortunately, he has found himself in music. His father forces him to go to a cram school, hoping that it will help him get into university. But Da-wei shows no interest in class and instead meets a music friend in the class, and secretly forms a band with him. A once-successful-but-now floundering record company quickly discovers his musical talent and as he becomes famous, starts to mingle with the A-list crowd. At the same time he slowly becomes estranged with his friend and former music partner. Eventually his success makes him feel lonely and fulfilled. He remembers his roots and tracks down his partner to perform with him again, finding again, the joy of music they once shared.

• Synopsis Lin Ting-pang, Chin Cheng-kuo, Shi Chuan and Luo Chih-cheng join the police academy and become good friends. After graduation, Lin and Chin become police detectives, while Shi and Luo get sent to traffic duty. When a family is found murdered, Lin and Chin find clues leading them to a gangster. In a confrontation, Lin kills the gangster, but later discovers the gangster’s gun had no bullets. Lin is forced to turn in his gun pending further investigation. One day, Lin runs into Shi and Luo and as he leaves, hears gunfire. He turns and sees his friends being shot. Lin watches helplessly as his friends die at the hands of a gangster’s gun. Lin becomes determined to find the gangsters responsible for his friends’ death. In doing so, he can bring the killers to justice and at the same time, regain his honor as a policeman.

• Synopsis Lin Wei-yang is an idealistic but lonely rebel. Song Si-Lang tries to avoid being drafted by losing weight and failing the physical. Tsao shih-Jong is a shy and weak boy from a wealthy family. Ou Ping owes a gambling debt and enlists so that he can avoid paying back what he owes. This group of misfits face the harsh training of Drill Sergeant Sun, but despite his seemingly cruel and intense ways, these boys grow to learn their share of lessons. Slowly, they begin to understand and appreciate their drill sergeant and realize life in the army isn’t bad after all.
